Global Settings

App-wide preferences that affect every athlete and every set. Per-set quick adjustments live in the Display page's Controls panel.

A1

Sensitivity

Global · all modes

Sets the validity window for what counts as a real rep. Use Tight when the mat picks up vibration / weight-shift artifacts as false reps. Use Loose when a coach explicitly wants to capture smaller jumps or longer contacts (researcher / open-recording use cases).

Active bounds — FT 1401200ms · CT 70600ms

Note

Sensitivity does not change the accuracy of the mat. The mat always reports the same flight + contact times to the controller — this setting just decides which events are valid enough to count as a recorded rep.

A2

Just Jump / Vertec

Display only · no calc impact

When on, every displayed jump height gets inflated by 1.1119² (≈ 1.2363×) to match Just Jump mat and Vertec reach-based readings. Use this to compare with historical data from those systems. Storage stays raw, RSI calculations stay raw — only the displayed JH number changes.

A3

Units

Display only · storage stays metric

Display units. Storage is always metric (cm, kg) regardless of choice — only the display layer + user-input fields convert. PPS standards historically use ft·lb; metric mode shows joules with ft·lb available for reference.

A4

RSI Formula

Coming soon

Choose how RSI is calculated. Standard is the academic formula (JH ÷ CT). Legacy uses the inflated FT formula (FT × 1.1119 ÷ CT) for backward-compatibility with historical Just Jump and Vertec data. Org-level setting — every session in this org records under the chosen formula and tags accordingly.

A5

Tags

Display modes · supplemental labels

Supplemental labels for naming drills and contexts on a set — e.g. Left Leg, Trap Bar, 12in Box, Hurdle. Tags are session-level; every rep in a set inherits the tags selected when it was captured. Coaches can also create tags inline from the live page header.

  • Box 18in
  • Hurdle
  • Left Leg
  • Right Leg
  • Trap Bar

Note

Tags persist locally on this device for now. Cross-device sync ships with the Supabase swap.
